Customer afterglow notes

  • "Working with Juli was an absolute joy. She has this incredible capacity to make the entire session feel less like a photo shoot and more like a journey of self-discovery. Juli’s calm presence, enthusiasm and gentle guidance immediately dissolve any camera shyness. She directs you effortlessly to find your most flattering angles. The results are stunning—she manages to capture not just a great photo, but your true, authentic essence. Her photos truly glow with inner radiance." — Maria

  • “I used to be a joyful, colorful, passionate woman — and then suddenly I dimmed. My smile, my color, my life disappeared. I didn’t want to socialize, I didn’t like myself, and I didn’t like what I saw in photos. Everything bothered me. Then I gave her a chance. I let her into my insecurities, into my heart, and through her magic — through her lens — she did what I had been trying to do for so long and had forgotten how to do. She helped me smile again, love myself again, like myself again, and see myself as beautiful.” - Paula

  • “Juli Valencia has a rare gift. She doesn’t just take photos — she captures feeling, beauty, and meaning in every frame. Her images are natural, honest, and quietly powerful, as if they were discovered rather than staged.

Her eye for light, color, and detail is extraordinary. Nothing feels forced; everything feels intentional and full of emotion. She notices the moments most people overlook and turns them into something deeply beautiful.

Juli photographed my story as a chef in Chicago with incredible sensitivity. Through her lens, my work, my food, and my environment came together in a way that felt true to who I am. She didn’t just document my craft — she translated it. Every scene felt alive, real, and full of soul.” - Chef Ludmila

The human behind the camera

I’m Juli — Latina by heritage, shaped by a life lived across countries, cultures, and languages. I moved to Australia in my early twenties and spent most of my adult life studying how people think, feel, and move through the world. That work trained me to notice the small things — the full‑body laugh, the quiet drift of thought, the gestures that reveal who someone is.

My photography is intentionally editorial: clean, emotional, grounded in real moments. I’m drawn to people in their element — laughing, wandering, thinking, feeling, simply being — and I turn those moments into images that feel stylish, honest, and a little unexpected.
